While the light path isn’t shut out, output Voltage signal, the light goes out

Magnetic induction switch

Output low level signal, when detected object is near, Indicator light becomes bright.
Output high level signal, when detected object is far away. Indicator goes out.

Note:

1. Magnetic body should be fixed by the side of dry-reed relay. Detecting distance is due to the magnetic field intensity.
2. The function of dry-reed relay is equal to NPN transistor. 
3. The two light-path switch can be used to the direction-judged circuit.
